[:hr]Representatives of more than 30 institutions, members of the European Network of National Human Rights Institutions (ENNHRI), from more than 30 countries from wider Europe are gathering in Zagreb on 27 and 28 October 2016 to attend the ENNHRI General Assembly Meeting. The two-day event aims to provide an opportunity for ENNHRI members to discuss recent developments, challenges and trends at national and European level in terms of the promotion and protection of human rights.
The General Assembly Meeting on 27 October will be dedicated to a review of past work and the planning of activities for 2017, while the General Assembly Seminar will take place on 28 October, and will address NHRI’s work on human rights and counter-terrorism.
Along with ENNHRI members, the event will include the participation of guests from the European Commission, Council of Europe, EQUINET, FRA, IOI, CERD, OSCE, OHCHR, UNDP, GANHRI, Amnesty International, International Commission of Jurists (ICJ) and Open Society Foundations.
